Doing in-person consultation became a big hassle with time, travel, and meeting time vampires who just wanted free information. We had to do something drastic to our business model. 

Being a fluid consultancy also meant we need to stay flexible and mobile, especially when we need to close a deal.

We had to stop giving away free meals, free coffees, and stop taking on free in-person consultation with window shoppers. 

That was rough because I love meeting new people and staying connected to those who have been with us since the start.

Plus I also wanted to do webinars so I could teach other designers; it all became a bit overwhelming. I spent roughly a month going through multiple platforms that could serve my business needs. I needed the accessibility to schedule appointments without the hassle of wasting time. 

We tried Skype, Google Meet, and a few others but didn't cut the mustard. We needed something universal that was user-friendly, engaging, and established. After a few weeks later, I found ZOOM, and we now have implemented this platform as our official video conferencing platform. 

Clients can now book a free 30-minute consultation via phone, free video conference on ZOOM, and still, offer in-person at an hourly rate.
